What is a Single-Family Home?

Single-Family Home Definition

An individual dwelling that is unattached to any other dwelling. Essentially, a single-family home is a house with no separate units. A duplex, fourplex, apartment building, or traditional house that has been divided is not considered a single-family home. FHA only supports loans (and refinancing) on single-family homes.
